ABOUT US

Quakers believe that there is "that of God" in every person, at work in our lives leading us into truth. During this hectic age, it is difficult to focus on God's calling for our lives. An important part of our worship is silence, so we can hear God's voice within us, experience God's presence, and grow in our ability to love as God loves. We do more than listen to God. We listen to one another.

OUR VISION

To know Jesus Christ intimately and personally, and through faith make Him known through our individual and corporate ministry.

OUR COMMUNION

Friends believe that each of us has a direct connection to God. During our communion, we quietly wait for the Holy Spirit. Sometimes what we hear is to be shared, other times it is all silent. This is the time we open our hearts to our Lord and commune quietly with Him.

OUR HISTORY

The first Ridge Farm Friends Church building was built in 1872. The current building was built in the 1950s.

"Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them"  -Matthew 18:20

Ridge Farm Friends Church is more than a place to go for Sunday worship. To me, RFFC is the embodiment of Christ in the people that attend there. I know in good and bad times, I am surrounded by Christ's love. The members are truly "his" body and their hands are reaching out to others.

Gary

The Ridge Farm Friends Church is where I attend, it's where I can find spiritual solace. Our church is also where I can get away from the busyness of the world, to fellowship with other believers, and to get my batteries recharged. The church is my extended family, where we share problems, praise, sing and glorify God.

Shirley

I have attended Ridge Farm Friends for over 40 years. The hymn "Family of God" comes to mind. Not only have I grown closer to God, but feel like the people in the church are part of my Family.
